There are many kinds of materials of flanges, mainly including the following:

Carbon steel flange. This is the most common flange material, mainly composed of carbon and iron, the price is relatively low, suitable for a variety of environments and occasions, such as municipal engineering, shipbuilding, chemical, oil, natural gas and so on. Carbon steel flanges have high strength and poor corrosion resistance, and need to be regularly maintained and replaced.
Stainless steel flange. Made of chromium, nickel and other elements, it has good corrosion resistance, can resist oxidation and corrosion, and is suitable for various corrosive environments, such as chemical industry, petroleum, shipbuilding and so on. The price of stainless steel flanges is relatively high, but it has a longer service life and better performance.
Alloy steel flange. Made of a variety of metal elements, also known as alloy flange, has excellent mechanical properties and high temperature resistance, can withstand high temperature and high pressure environment working environment, suitable for high temperature and high pressure, strong corrosive media under the pipeline connection, such as petrochemical, nuclear power plant, aerospace and other fields.
Cast iron flange. Mainly made of gray cast iron, ductile cast iron, cast iron and other materials, with high strength, good reliability, low cost advantages, suitable for municipal engineering, shipbuilding, machinery manufacturing and other fields.
Plastic flange. Mainly made of PVC, PP, PE, PVDF and other materials, with corrosion resistance, transparent, flame retardant, sound insulation and other properties, suitable for chemical industry, tap water, sewage treatment and other industries connector.
Copper flange. It has the characteristics of excellent electrical conductivity, thermal conductivity, corrosion resistance, etc., and is widely used in electric power, chemical industry, petroleum and other fields.
Aluminum flange. It is a lightweight, heat-resistant, corrosion-resistant and easy to process material, which is often used in the intake pipe and exhaust pipe of automobiles, aircraft and other vehicles.
